He is a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee at Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Vice President, Chief Physician of Gastroenterology, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Evaluation Expert of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Evaluation Expert of the Ministry of Science and Technology and Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission. He has long been engaged in clinical and translational research on difficult and critical digestive diseases, specializing in molecular diagnosis and medical device research and development. He has been granted 22 invention patents and 18 utility model patents, which have been successfully transformed. He has presided over 8 national and provincial scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Beijing Natural Science Foundation, published more than 180 articles as the first or corresponding author, with an H-index of 24. He has rich clinical experience and is skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of difficult, critical, and rare digestive diseases. He has published more than 70 case reports, constructed a diagnostic and treatment thinking system with the characteristics of Peking Union Medical College, and promoted it nationwide. He has edited and translated 6 monographs (awarded the Excellent Best-Seller in the National Health Industry in 2013). He has been awarded honorary titles such as "National Health System Youth Expert", "China's Good Doctor", "Beijing University Youth Teaching Master", "National Excellent Mentor for Resident Physician Standardization Training", and "Peking Union Outstanding Youth". In 2021, he won the First Prize for Medical Research Innovation from the China Research Hospital Association. In 2022, he was awarded "Top Ten Clinical Researchers in the Digestive Field in China".
